Bestiary

Headwalkers are monsters that only exist in storybooks - although there are people who claim that they were spotted in remote areas of Tibia. They are a terrifying sight, basically just a giant head supported by two legs and a long tail. Headwalkers are a testament to the power of stories and their ability to change reality. They were once scholars and thinkers whose heads were full of ideas. But little by little, their thoughts took over and dominated them so much that their heads grew larger and larger, while their bodies wasted away. Now they wander the land as walking heads, driven by an insatiable thirst for knowledge, but also by the madness brought on by their transformation. Their eyes are wild and manic, as if they were looking directly into the infinite vastness of the mind. Some say they can read the thoughts of others, while others claim they can predict the future. What is certain, however, is that one should beware of their gaze, as it causes confusion and disorientation. They are also able to suck the knowledge out of their victims, thereby draining them of their life force.
